Victor Enrich’s Photographic Mind


For a dose of architectural Surrealism, one need go no further than the image manipulations of Barcelona-born photographer Victor Enrich. Here, Enrich, who has a wickedly sharp mind for visual trickery, turns his camera on the NH Deutscher Kaiser Hotel in Munich, a relatively ordinary-looking hotel, which, via Enrich’s brand of digital cajoling, comes alive in gravity-defying ways. Enrich’s NHDK Project includes 88 different twists and torques, bends and flips, acts of levitation and toppling—each of them a thrilling sleight of Enrich’s skillful hand.
